How will the course benefit me?
This course will teach you the basics of Asian bridal make-up. It can also be used as a foundation for those who want to go on to further studies within the make-up, hair and beauty field. Beauty classes contribute to a healthy lifestyle and an improved well-being which will benefit you at home and at work.

What will I learn?
The following topics will be covered during the course: - Skincare - Foundation, concealer and powder - Eyebrow shape - How to apply false eyelashes - Eye shadows - Bindis - Lips and cheeks By the end of the course you will be able to: - Recognise and respond to different skin types - Select suitable make-up products and apply them correctly - Have a basic understanding of other beauty techniques for a wedding day, eg., manicure and bindis PLEASE NOTE: This is not an accredited course and the above topics will all be covered at a basic level.

Career Opportunities
You can progress on to our Asian Bridal Advanced or Specialist Techniques courses. If you are interested in taking a vocational beauty course your tutor can advise you accordingly. A ‘What Next?’ progress leaflet will be available on the Institute website at the end of the course.

Entry Requirements
This course is for anyone who has an interest in the subject, e.g, brides-to-be and their friends and/or family, or those wishing to go on to further studies.

Health & Safety
You will need to follow the tutor’s instructions on health & safety procedures and keep the tutor up-to-date with any health concerns or conditions.

How will the course be delivered?
A range of teaching methods will be used, including verbal instruction and explanation, demonstration, discussion, one-to-one and group guidance and plenty of hands-on experience. Learners must be willing to give and receive treatments.
