Your tutor will advise you if you are able to take the assessment and which level of assessment you will be working towards. During the first 2 weeks your learning and level, as well as your attendance, punctuality and commitment to learning will be assessed to make sure this is the right course for you. At the end of the 17 weeks you will be assessed by your tutor to ensure you are progressing at the correct level.

Progression or Employment pathways

You will need access to a PC and the internet to help with independent study and to access your VLE account. You can also use our Learning Resource Centre or even your local library for free (printing costs apply). It is a good idea to come to each lesson with a pen, a folder, some A4 lined paper and a notebook so that you can take any homework given home with you and bring it back to the next lesson.
