What will I learn?
This course is designed to prepare adult learners for the SELT B1 GESE (Graded Examinations in Spoken English) exam, a requirement for UK visa and immigration purposes (e.g., Leave to Remain and Citizenship). The course focuses on developing speaking and listening skills in English at CEFR Level B1, aligned with the exam format and criteria. By the end of the course, you will be able to: -Communicate confidently in everyday situations. -Express opinions, preferences, and feelings clearly. -Understand and respond to spoken English in a range of contexts. -Prepare effectively for the Trinity GESE Grade 5 (B1) exam format. -Practice exam-style tasks including the Topic Phase and Conversation Phase.


Fee
The course cost is £360 for one-to-one and £280 each for small groups of 2 or 3 people. The course is 5 hours (2 x 2.5 hours) over 2 weeks.


Entry Requirements
Who is this course for?: -Adults (19+) -Learners who need a Secure English Language Test (SELT) for visa or citizenship applications. -Those with basic English skills (A2 level or above) looking to progress to B1. -Learners who want to improve their confidence and fluency in spoken English. In order to enrol to the course you will need: -Basic English language skills (A2 level or equivalent). -Commitment to attend all sessions and participate actively. -Attendance to a pre-course phone interview.


Progression opportunities
Following completion of the course: Learners will be able to book and take the SELT B1 GESE exam at an approved test centre
